A new morning dawns over the pasture. The sheep graze peacefully. But then, shadows appear at the edge of the pasture. Wolves are lurking! In Calupum, you become a shepherd and experience a tactical family game with a bite.
Your goal is simple yet challenging: protect your sheep, collect points, and prove after twelve rounds that you have positioned your sheep best. But be careful: as soon as a wolf spots one of your sheep, it loses a health point. It's not as easy as it sounds, your fellow players will make your game difficult and one of the protective hedges will disappear every round.
One of the most special things about Calupum: you can choose from two different game modes.
The winter side is the perfect introduction to Calupum. Move your sheep with the sheep cards and watch out for the wolves, thus experiencing a tactical game of pure Calupum. At the end of every round, First Johnny moves on, determining a new starting player.
The summer side is much more complex. New characters such as the shepherdess and her dog Bobtail come into play, the terrain becomes more important and additional objectives provide extra points. Tunnels even open up secret paths beneath the pasture. In short: more material, more possibilities - more Calupum!
Whether in German or English - you decide how you want to play. Both versions are included in the box. With two to four people, ages eight and up and 30-45 minutes playing time, Calupum is the ideal game for an exciting evening.
Calupum offers the best of several worlds: straightforward rules, tactical depth, and plenty of replay value.
