The SPIEL Essen app has received its update for 2026. This means you can now browse the novelty lists that our exhibitors have been filling. The schedule for the SPIEL.talks on the stage in Hall 4, exhibitor vouchers, interactive hall maps, and all your favorite features are now up to date as well. Of course, more new content will continue to be added, as exhibitors still have plenty in store for SPIEL this year.

We also have big plans for the app and, thanks to your feedback and our experience, we have integrated several new features this year:

• You can now filter events by hall, allowing you to see instantly what is going on right where you are.
• You can now sort your favorites by priority (using the gear icon at the top). This helps you get a quicker overview of what is most important to you.
• The novelty list now features an icon indicating when an entry includes a video, so you immediately know if you can find extra content here.
• It is also possible to filter the novelty list specifically for novelties that include videos.
• We have also added play-time filters to the novelty list. So if you are looking for quick games, that is now super easy to do.
• When new games appear in the novelty list, they are now sorted by the date of the app update rather than the date they were approved. This makes it easier for you to keep track of which games are truly new to the list.
